Excel 2013 Basics

The Excel 2013 Basics workshop will be a one-hour session for those PC users with limited or no experience using Excel.
The course will begin with a discussion of applicable uses of Excel in an academic setting. Demonstrations will alternate with hands-on activities where attendees will learn how to navigate the interface, create workbooks with textual and numeric data, enter formulas and functions, and format for readability using shading and borders.
NOTE: This is a hands-on workshop and requires that attendees bring their PC laptops with Excel 2013 installed.
