Flipping the Classroom

If you are looking for ways to free up class time for increased student engagement, then join us for this Flipped Classroom training. In this session, we will discuss the pedagogical approach to a Flipped Classroom, which moves direct instruction out of the classroom at certain times in order to create an interactive learning environment during class.

We will explore how to implement this model in your teaching with practical examples and demonstrations. This will include discussion about best practices and tips and tricks for the use of different tools, such as the university’s screen capture program (TechSmith Relay) and Blackboard’s collaboration tools.

Learn how these tools and methods can facilitate student engagement, interactivity, and accountability for deeper learning in your class.
