Blackboard Workshops

Presented by Academic Technology

Academic Technology will offer concurrent Blackboard workshops for faculty. Both sessions will be held concurrently from 10:30-11:30 AM and 12-1 PM.

Once you begin the registration process, you will be able to select one or more sessions to attend.

Blackboard Basics (Student Center 117):

Are you new to Blackboard? In this one-hour session you will learn how to build your course and make it available, add a syllabus and upload course materials. You will also be introduced to basic course design and organization principles. An overview of collaboration tools (blogs, journals, wikis, groups and discussion boards) will also be discussed.

Please bring a working laptop.

Blackboard Grading (Student Center 215):

Would you like to save time collecting assignments or grading exams? In this session you will learn how to electronically distribute and collect projects, as well as have exams automatically graded and entered into a Blackboard grade book. To gain the most from this workshop it is recommended that you bring an existing assignment, project or exam that you would like to upload to Blackboard.

Please bring a working laptop.
