This session provides an overview of design elements that support all student learning. Research shows that learners access and process course content differently and the importance of learners being able to find and use the kind of institutional support services they need is related to academic success. 

Learning Objectives

1. Outline key components to an effective and clear course overview and introduction.
2. Review and identify the importance of variety in instructional materials that enable learners to achieve course learning objectives.
3. Identify institutional support services for student’s success. 
   
4. Outline course design components that will ensure students can access and interact with course content.
